Getting Started with StaysPal
Follow these steps to set up your property portfolio.
Subscribe or Try Free
Choose a package that fits your needs or start with a one-month free trial. Your package determines your limits for properties, units, and active leases. Upgrade anytime as you grow.
Initial Setup
Configure your organization settings. Set up Unit Types, Payment Types, Utilities, and Lease Terms & Conditions. These are required when creating units and leases later.
Create Properties & Units
- Properties: From the dashboard, select Properties and click (+) to add them.
- Units: Open a property, select 'View Units', and click (+) to add units to that property.
Add Users
Tenants: Must be created before creating a lease.
Property Managers: Optional. Can be assigned to specific properties.
General Managers: Optional. Can manage the whole organization.
*Ensure emails are correct so users can access your organization.
Create & Manage Leases
Select 'Leases' from the dashboard. Set the Start Date, Billing Day, and Utilities (Fixed or Rate-Based). Once created, the tenant receives the agreement via email.
Financials & Utilities
Rate-Based Utilities: Enter monthly rates in Property Details > Billing before the billing date.
Payments: Open an invoice, click (+ Add) in the Payments section to record a transaction. Receipts are emailed automatically.
